This
qualification is predominantly assessed through a portfolio of evidence
demonstrating your construction of knowledge and practical ability to plan,
deliver and reflect on teaching and training. You will complete 3 units during
the course and these will depend on the route you choose to follow. You will be
advised which route is suitable for you at interview, dependent on your
experience, current role, and rationale for undertaking the course. Some units will be delivered
remotely, via MS Teams, and you will create a digital portfolio.

Learning and Development in Individuals OR Facilitating Learning and Development
in Groups
Within
each unit there are various tasks and assessments you must complete; these
include written essays, producing posters/leaflets and recording personal and
professional reflections. Learners following route 1 will also be required to do
a 15 minute micro-teach to the rest of the group at the end of the course
showcasing all the skills and knowledge you have acquired. Your micro-teach can
be on a subject/topic of your preference. There is no micro-teach for learners
following route 2. There are no examinations in this course.

Award is worth 12 credits and is the first step into teaching and further
teaching qualifications such as the Level 4 Certificate in Education and
Training and the Level 5 Certificate in Education and
