Do you want to work in music, but being on stage isn’t for you? Do you thrive
under pressure and love organising projects or events? This course could be for
you.
This one-year Level Four Professional Diploma course centres around
developing professional practice to industry standards. You will have an
individual development plan and will explore methods and techniques relating to
a wide variety of production work, including sound design, lighting design, set
design, or stage management.
Masterclasses focus on topics such as production design, technical elements,
business development, and self-promotion. As a group, you will form your own
company and plan productions and collaborations in a variety of locations and
venues. You’ll take control of all aspects of the production and will lead or
mentor others. You’ll also develop a network of contacts in the industry and
establish yourself in the local community.
You’ll be based in our own dedicated performance space which has a 180-seater
theatre, dressing rooms, dance studios, rehearsal rooms, MAC suite, and
technical theatre workshop. You’ll also work at venues and locations around the
city of Lincoln.
