Introduction
This qualification is designed to equip students with the knowledge,
understanding and skills required to enhance their career potential in the
computing and IT profession. The courses are aimed mainly, but not
exclusively, at those who have some computing experience.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of 64 UCAS Tariff points from the following:
GCE A and AS Levels
BTEC National (90 Credit Diploma, Diploma or Extended
Diploma) in a relevant subject
Scottish Higher/Advanced Higher with at least
one subject at Advanced Higher
T Levels.
For mature applicants, experience may be taken in lieu of qualifications that
carry UCAS Tariff points.
Plus:
GCSE English Language – grade C/4 or above
GCSE Maths – grade C/4 or
above (Level 2 Functional skills is not taken as an equivalent)
EU and International applicants:
NARIC confirmed equivalent of 64 UCAS points
IELTS with an overall score
of 6.0 and a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
Equivalent English language qualifications may be acceptable for applicants
requiring a visa
If you are an applicant requiring a visa, you can only
apply for a full time course .

Progression
On successful completion of this course, graduates have a strong set of
practical skills for pursuing a career within the computing and IT industry.
Graduates will have the capability to adapt and respond to the changing and
diverse nature of the sector. Graduates could also complete postgraduate courses
at an alternative university or pursue a teacher training
qualification.

Fees
Part Time- Per AcademicYear:
Home Students - £4350.00
International Students - £4750.00
Tuition fees will remain unchanged for the duration of a student’s continuous
enrolment.
Additional Course Costs
Textbooks – varying costs (optional)
Additional compulsory course costs will be paid for using the Career Degree
Bursary. The scheme allows students to access the remainder of the bursary (up
to a maximum value of £500 / £250) for additional optional courses, workshops,
professional memberships and resources. There is no cash alternative. Students
who wish to access opportunities in excess of the Bursary may do so at full cost
to themselves.

Study Details
You will study on the Lincoln College Campus for the full duration of the
course. Part Time - 6 Years Course contact hours are to be confirmed. Whilst the
sessions delivered at College will typically fall between Monday and Friday from
9am – 5pm, it is expected that students will complete the online study, in
addition to the independent study, outside of these times. Students should also
make themselves available to complete work experience hours outside of these
times. Many of the opportunities offered through the college will require
commitment during evenings and weekends.

This course is validated by the University of Hull. The validating institution is responsible for awarding the qualification at the end of the programme. Students on validated courses are OfS registered, funded and taught at Lincoln College and it is the responsibility of the College to manage all aspects of this provision.
